All our programs inspire, enrich, and foster a joy of learning! Children are induced to art, dance, music, and theater. Arts Alive Nassau hires professional artists/teachers to teach both in the fall and spring semester. A classroom if made available to Arts Alive at each elementary school, where a one hour class is held after school. Typically there are two or three classes per elementary school.  All supplies and fees are covered by Arts Alive Nassau by grants, and private and corporate donors.

Visual Art

Artists learn the basics of drawing, painting, methods and materials, color theory, expression, and creativity.

Photography is also offered some semesters. Our young photographers learn the basics of photography, elements of composition, as well as camera skills and technology.
